I've been sleeping in the shadows

Simply breathing without being

Acting without thought

Looking without seeing

But I have heard you whisper

Your mystery in my ear

You've been speaking all along

Though at first I did not hear

Now my spirit is ablaze

My heart electrified

I am running once again

Getting stronger with each stride

I can feel you swarm around me

I can feel you in my core

Desire pulsing through me

Yearning now, for more

I see your mark upon me

I am ready as can be

To embark upon this journey

Which I take in jubilee

This venture won't be easy

But I feel you at my side

Though I do not know the way

I trust you as my guide

I know that when I fall

And my spirit will not rest
