I have blessed you with a temple, with hands and heart and feet

To do my work on earth, to make this world complete

I have blessed you with desire, for longing to be more

To reach the full potential of a life I have in store

I have blessed you with my eyes, to see each day anew

And revel in the beauty of the world from earthly view

I have gifted you with laughter, with joy in ev'ry day

To find my love in others in an unexpected way

I have gifted you with purpose; You were fashioned by my hand

And your meaning can be found in me, in all that I have planned

I have gifted you with voice, with words of prophecy

To speak for those deprived of their human dignity

I have sent you in my name to this land that they call life

To bear my light with faith amongst the hardship and the strife

I have sent you, my disciple, to act in word and deed

To hope when all seems hopeless, to plant with heaven's seed

I have sent you establish life, my kingdom, there on earth

You were destined to be builders from the moment of your birth

I have promised you a home, though you have not reached it yet

You are marked upon my heart as a love I won't forget

I have promised you eternity, I sent my only Son

To die upon the cross bringing life to ev'ryone

I have given you my love, so trust and take my hand

If you love as I have loved you, you will reach the promised land
