You bear your bloodstained hands
A nation painted red
Making more demands
You've made his body bleed
And claim it's justice served
That this act of retribution
Was something he deserved
You've been blinded by your fear
And turned it into hate
Buried it inside
To simmer as you wait
The moment now has come
To plant new seeds of peace
To turn from violent act
So one day war might cease
When the towers crumbled down
Fated by oppression
You claimed yourselves the victims
Of terrorist aggression
Wake up! You have been blind
And been killing all along
Torturing your neighbors
While singing freedom's song
You label him a killer
Though you wield a bloody sword
And have lived a life of vengeance
Praising war as lord
Have you forgotten history?
The people you've abused
The nations you've exploited
The power you've misused
You must remember bloodbaths
Of Iraq and Vietnam
When you raped and killed and pillaged
With tank and gun and bomb
You must remember massacres
Dictators that you trained
To play Latin America
Your good intentions feigned
You fight this war on terror
Though the mirror reveals your sin
Yet your vision fails to see
That with war, no one can win
