Faith

Faith is not a comfort, but a struggle
A questioning of something yet unseen
Acceptance and belief in Love that's bigger
Trusting though we're always in between

Faith is not authentic without action
Belief in Truth requires life that's matched
To live within this world but be not of it
To go through life indifferently detached

Faith is not conformity to dogma
Submission to the rule and law of men
But witness to the cross as true believer
Hoping that with death comes life again

Faith is not achieved by earthly doings
Nor measured by the systems used by man
It's planted in our hearts as seeds beyond us
Revealed to us in time by Heaven's plan
